A 1-Day Introductory Workshop on Anti-Drug Work will be organized by CUHK Department of Social Work and CUHK Nethersole School of Nursing

The workshop aims to provide a structured training for social work and nursing practitioners to meet the soaring needs for anti-drug work, guided by an integrated humanistic and cognitive-behavioral approach. Upon completion of the workshop, participants will be able to gain CNE or CPD points accredited by the Nursing Council or Social Workers Registration Board.

中大社工系三名畢業生榮獲社會工作人員協會嘉許

由香港社會工作人員協會舉辦的「第23屆優秀社工選舉」已完滿結束。本系畢業生黃敏信校友及黃子峰校友憑著他們在社會工作的熱誠和成就,分別榮獲「優秀社工獎」及「新秀社工獎」,成果令人鼓舞。

本年「優秀社工獎」得主黃敏信校友為本系聯合書院1988年畢業生,現時任職明愛精神健康綜合社區中心社會工作督導主任,致力於精神復康範疇,為復康人士提供適切有效的支援。至於獲得「新秀社工獎」的黃子峰校友,則為逸夫書院2007年畢業生,現時於新生精神康復會安泰軒擔任社會工作者。

除上述兩項傑出社工獎外,現時服務救世軍、主要支援有特殊學習需要的兒童及青少年的2008新亞書院畢業生李麗玲校友亦於「最有啟發助人歷程」選舉中突圍而出,同獲社會工作人會協會嘉許。

「優秀社工獎」、「新秀社工獎」及「最有啟發助人歷程獎」為香港社會工作人員協會每年頒發之獎項,目的旨在表揚具傑出成就的社會工作者,為社會服務界一大殊榮。過往多年,本系畢業生屢獲嘉許,象徵社會各界對他們的認同和肯定。本年再有三名畢業生獲獎,系主任馬麗莊教授感到非常欣喜,亦感謝畢業生於投身社會後一直不屈不撓、默默耕耘於社會服務和工作。馬教授期望,社會工作學系各畢業生和同學能繼續秉承中文大學一直引以為傲的人文精神價值,共同努力,攜手讓社會邁向更美好的將來。

親愛的校友:

畢業有否懷念校園的生活?本科生有否打算進修研究院的課程?研究生是否希望修讀博士課程?中大社系現正開始本年度的研究生招生工作。下面為研究生學部的課程宣傳資料。

目前,學部共開辦六個碩士及博士課程,分為研究式及修課式兩大類,切合學生的不同需要,包括「社會福利哲學碩士 – 博士銜接課程」、「社會工作社會科學碩士」、「社會工作碩士」、「家庭輔導及家庭教育文學碩士」、「社會政策文學碩士」及「社會服務管理文學碩士」課程。

此外,研究生部經常舉辦學術研討會、海外實習、學生交流計畫、社區訪問和社交活動;以及安排學生與各國的訪問學者會面交流,以豐富學生的知識和體驗。

為輔助有志修讀人士更充分地瞭解研究生部課程,中大社工系將於2013年11月至1月初在大陸、臺灣、香港地區開設多場訊息諮詢會,學系的教授將親臨現場,為與會者詳細介紹。

Thank you for your active response to our introductory workshops to be held on 9 August, 2013 and 16 August, 2013. Both of these workshops are now Full. Now we are moving to the next stage of our anti-drug training project, which is to provide a 5-Day Advanced Course on Anti-Drug Work (hereafter the Advanced Course) to be organized by CUHK Department of Social Work and CUHK Nethersole School of Nursing in October-November, 2013.

The Advanced Course aims to raise participants’ competence for the treatment of clients with problematic drug abuse in their service settings, guided by an integrated humanistic and cognitive-behavioral approach. Upon completion of the Advanced Course, participants will be able to gain 30 CNE or CPD points accredited by the Nursing Council or Social Workers Registration Board.
