(New) 5-Day Advanced Course on Anti-Drug Work:
An Integrated Humanistic and Cognitive-Behavioral Training
Date: 25/10/2014, 1/11/2014, 8/11/2014, 15/11/2014 and 22/11/2014 (Saturdays)

5-Day Advanced Course on Anti-Drug Work (hereafter the Advanced Course) to be organized by CUHK Department of Social Work and CUHK Nethersole School of Nursing in October-November, 2014.

The Advanced Course aims to raise participants’ competence for the treatment of clients with problematic drug abuse in their service settings, guided by an integrated humanistic and cognitive-behavioral approach. Upon completion of the Advanced Course, participants will be able to gain 30 CNE or CPD points accredited by the Nursing Council or Social Workers Registration Board. Please grasp this invaluable chance to participate in this course.

(1)  Please note that a deposit of $800 is required upon registration. It is because the sponsor, Beat Drugs Fund of the HKSAR Government, requires participants to pay a deposit of $800 which will be refunded to them upon completion of 80% of the Advanced Course. You can send by postal mail a crossed cheque (payable to “The Chinese University of Hong Kong" together with your name and a bank account for deposit refund on the back of the cheque) to Ms. Haicilla Ho, Department of Social Work, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shatin, New Territories, Hong Kong.
(2)  A Certificate of Attendance will be given to participants who have attended at least 80% of the Advanced Course.
